help needed . Dayak items from Bahau & Modang

: My wife and I collect javanese antiques and want to extent

: Bahau longhouse ladder and a Modang ancestor statue. He
: claims they are early 20th century and made of ironwood (kayu besi ulin )

: How can I determine if they are really that old and that they are
: made of ironwood ?? Also example pictures are highly
: appreciated , I've been searching the net for some day now but I didn't
: find any yet.
