: Catalog available from The Ethnic Art Institute of Micronesia featuring the art of the islands, including Tattoo Instruments, Yapese Beam Carvings, Ponape Dance Paddles, Love Sticks, and much more, all carved in the ancestral tradition by the Native Islanders. All proceeds are used to support the Institute which continues to conduct research and develops apprentices and Master Carvers to continue the unique cultural traditions of the Micronesians. Advisory Board members include Dr. Jerome Feldman of the University of Hawaii, Dr. Donald Rubinstein of the Micronesian Area Research Center at the University of Guam and Dr. Eric Metzgar, an authority on Micronesian art and history.
